Getting Started:
Elementary, middle, and high school educators who would like to apply for field trip funding can get started by doing the following, the sooner, the better!:
-
Choose an approved lesson plan for a Guam-registered historic site (click here for the full list). Lesson plans may come from the Teaching with Historic Places: Ekungok i Estoriata Education Series (www.estoriata.org) or a similar lesson plan that we can review and approve.
-
Complete the application form and attach your proposed lesson plan.

-
Make the site visit arrangements, including any advance reservations required by the location. Guam Preservation Trust will sponsor up to two (2) buses per field trip, but teachers will handle the scheduling and bookings. Obtain three bus transportation quotes, as public funds are used for this program.
Please note: some historic sites or areas may have limited accessibility for individuals with mobility needs.
-
Submit your application.
Email your application to lbpreservation@guam.net or hand deliver to our office:
